Woman looking back from driver's seat1. Additional Drivers - When you get your rental car you do not have to put all of your friends as a listed driver. The only person who's name should be on the documents is the person who is renting the vehicle. Some companies charge you for each person that you put down as driver.

2. Always inspect you rental vehicle - Look for any scratches or minor dents and report is to the sales associate so they can document it. It is okay to make sure the car is clean and there is no where and tear to the vehicle. When you return the vehicle make sure you wait for someone to inspect the car before pulling off this would be very important so you will not get charged any additional fees.

3. Be aware of the credit card policy - Just make sure you double check to see if a rental can be purchased with your credit card. Be aware of any damages, fees, and anything else that may be charged on your credit card so there will be no surprise.

4.Renting a car from the airport - When you rent a car directly from the airport then they charge certain fees. Car rental companies are required by law to charge these fees to vehicles. If you do not want to pay these fees then consider taking a shuttle or a taxi it would save you some money.
