 Certain insurance companies are stricter than others when it comes to someone needing to be added on to the policy. This can become a legal issue for you if the person who is driving your vehicle or a vehicle on the policy  without being listed as a driver. Be mindful this can affect your insurance if you are not careful.The insurance company may or my not pay for an accident of an unlisted driver. There was a customer who recently called and stated that he has been pulled over by the police and he needed to verify coverage on the vehicle he is currently driving. He was apparently suppose to be on his mothers policy well he wasn't added as a listed driver and the car that he was driving was not insured on the policy. The police officer had to call a towing company to tow a vehicle. This is a lesson to let you know that whomever  you let drive your vehicle for a certain period of time make sure you add them to your policy or don't let them drive at all. It is very crucial  that you make a decision to add someone or exclude someone from your policy.
